Bio

Born and raised in Southern Louisiana, White Gravy's love for music was inherited and automatically installed through the Creole culture. As a child, he grew up acustomed to different genres like rhythm and blues, jazz, zydeco (music with live instruments), soul, rap, and hip-hop in the 80's. In his early stages of childhood, White Gravy developed a love for reading and writing poetry. He also learned to pick an instrument out to get the rhythm of a song or instrumental. With that being said, he was given the ability to excel in the school choir and church choir through his high school years, sing one year at Carnegie Hall. Now at the age of 26, White Gravy has taken his life experieces along with his inherited skills and put his all into his work. He has worked with different record labels and artists from various parts of the nation like Chicago, Detroit and other parts of Michigan, Florida, Mississippi, Texas and Louisisana doing collaborations and publishing music to different interenet radio stations. He is also a registered publisher and songwriter with ASCAP, promoter and performer for local clubs in Michigan, associate producer of local tv show and proud father of two beautiful twin daughters. Since 2001, White Gravy has put alot of work into his music and the business and looks to incline from being one of the top artists in Southwest Michigan to one of the top artists in the nation continuing to give the people they can listen to, relate to, and dance to.
